Most Awaited Korean Dramas ( Second half of 2016 )

"Whoah! It's the most wonderful time of the year!"
After the Descendants of the Sun's big break on the first half of 2016, FOUR MOST AWAITED, STAR-STUDDED and MOST EXCITING Korean drama will air/now airing this second half of 2016. Will they stand-out? Who among the four series will outweigh Descendants of the Sun's popularity and ratings? Let's find out!
1. Doctors / Doctor Crush

"Doctors" is now airing every Mondays and Tuesdays at SBS. It is now on its 8 out of 20 episodes.

Genre: Medical drama, Romance, Drama, Comedy

Casts:

Lead Characters:
* Park Shin-hye as Yoo Hye-Jung
* Kim Rae-Won as Hong ji-hong

Park Shin-Hye is well known for her leading role appearance on dramas: You're Beautiful, Heartstrings, The Heirs and Pinocchio.
Kim Rae-Won is well known for his leading role appearance on dramas: Attic Cat, My Little Bride, Love Story in Harvard, A Thousand's day Promises, and many more.

It is their first time working together.

Plot:
When Hye-Jung was young, her life was difficult. She was good at fighting, but also studied well. Overcoming her tough situation, she is now a doctor.

Notes: For Park Shin-hye's fans, it is something that you must really watch. Park Shin-Hye do something different that you've never seen before. I also noticed that she became more skinny on this series..(Well, you can comment down below, if you agree with me)

The first two episodes really made me cry. The plot was really good. That's why I do recommend that you guys watch this.

I also commend the Hye-jung and Ji-hong tandem!

Along with Park Shin-hye and Kim Rae-won, Lee Sung-kyung and Yoon Kyun-sang also stars on this series.

Lee Sung-kyung's last project was Cheese in the trap, while Yoon Kyun-sang's last project was Six Flying Dragons. Park Shin-hye and Yoon Kyun-sang already worked together in the series "Pinocchio".

2. Uncontrollably Fond

Uncontrollably Fond is currently airing every Wednesday and Thursday on KBS2. It is now on its 4 out of 20 episodes.

Genre: Romance, Comedy, Drama

Casts:

Lead Characters:
*Kim Woo Bin as Shin Joon-young
*Bae Suzy as No Eul
If I'm not mistaken it is Kim Woo-bin's first ever male lead role on TV series. He appeared in various TV series like School 2013, where he worked with Lee Jong-suk (W's lead actor) and The Heirs, where he worked with Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye (Doctors' lead actress). Last July 2015, his agency also confirmed that he is dating Shin Min-a (Oh my Venus' lead actress).

Bae Suzy is well known for her lead role appearance in dramas: Dream High, Big and Gu Family Book.
She also confirmed her relationship with Lee Min-ho.

Plot:
When Shin Joon-Young (Kim Woo-Bin) and No Eul (Bae Suzy) were children, they were separated and became heartbroken.
As adults they meet again. Shin Joon-Young is now a top actor and singer. He is intelligent and attractive. No Eul is the PD of documentaries. She values money over justice and kisses up to those with more power than her.

3. "W"

The shortest title I've ever encounter so far. It will air on July 20, every Wednesday and Thursday on MBC. It will takeover "Lucky Romance's" timeslot. There will be a total of 16 episodes.

Genre: Mystery, Melodrama, Romance

Casts:

 Lead Characters:

Lee Jong-suk is well known for his lead role appearance and awards in dramas: School 2013 (where he worked with Kim Woo-bin), I hear your voice, Doctor Stranger and Pinocchio (where he worked with Park Shin Hye).

This series is probably Han Hyo-joo's comeback on TV dramas after almost 6 years. She is well known for her lead role appearance on dramas: Brilliant Legacy and Dong Yi.

Plot:
A romance takes place between Kang Chul (Lee Jong-Suk), who is super rich and exist in the webtoon “W,” and Oh Yeon-Joo (Han Hyo-Joo) who is a surgeon in the real world.
